#SkeeLocker 063/365: Air Jordan XIII “He Got Game” white/black/red Retro before they drop March 16th… I had the OG’s back in Junior High and these were some of my favorite Jordans ever both to ball in and look wise. Also the first Jordan to come in a silver box (and the first Air Jordan that came out under the new Jordan Brand division).
Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl” (2002 Edition). Some history, this was the first Foamposite Pro color ever released, and originally made (and worn by) Scottie Pippen in ‘97. I picked these up from the Nike Employee store for $90 when I was up in Portland doing some marketing for them back in ‘02, wish they still cost this little ha!
For day 13, we showcase the Air Jordan XIII “Flint Grey.” My favorite 13’s (and some of my fav shoes in general ever), these had a good amount of reflective 3M (check the pic) in them unlike some of the other retros. Maybe they best blue Jordan ever, and the nicest Jordan you can wear with blue jeans.
#SkeeLocker 005/365: The first Air Jordan V Grape/Emerald retro. One my all time favs… Not only showing because its the 5th day, but had to showcase some Purple to support the Vikings! See you at Lambeau tonight, I’m off to Green Bay 👿
For our Fourth 2013 entry, we had to showcase some classic and oft forgotten about Air Jordan IV’s… the 1999 Air Jordan IV Retro+ in White/Columbia Blue-Midnight Navy. Check the silver box & $99.99 price tag! Some history, these were actually the first “Retro+” model that featured different colors/materials compared to the OG’s (like the Jumpman on the back). Jordan stopped making “Retro +” versions in 2001. These are some of my all time favs and have been worn across the world, can we get a retro soon? Told ya’ll, I’ve been doin this for decades! #SkeeLocker 004/365
Today’s #SkeeLocker gives you a sneak preview of the upcoming Air Jordan I “Red Toe” retros & quick strike NY Knicks / Carmelo edition (complete with the “big apple 7” logo inside) before they drop this weekend… now beyond being an OG color we haven’t see in a minute plus a special Melo version, the best feature about these are the ORIGINAL boxes from 1985! Plus, the blue/orange one doesn’t feature the Jumpman, but instead the Nike logo like the good ol’ days…
